It wasn’t long ago that lightening interrupted the configuration of the compass on our family minivan. After reading the manual I discovered that in order to recalibrate the compass I had to drive the vehicle in a complete circle three times before the compass would once again find true north. After a dizzying drive the compass reconfigured aiding my sense of direction.

In life we often find ourselves living with a dysfunctional compass. Our sense of direction can be set on something other than “true north” leading to disappointment and frustration in life and sometimes leave us with a sense that we are spinning out of control. At Heritage Baptist Church we are committed to keeping our lives set on “true north,” that is God and His Word.
